75 learners between the ages of 12 and 18 attended the A.R.T. Show on Tuesday morning 21 February. This formed part of the first HIVAN/WCRP Youth Forum for 2012.

Following our festive season superstore ‘BuzzArt’ and the unapologetic bling of the opening of the annual KZNSA members exhibition ‘RED’, the Gallery turned its attention to a more sombre concern – the HIV and AIDS pandemic.

Tuesday evening saw an unprecedented number of Durban art lovers who arrived in waves up the red carpet (and suitably dressed) for the opening of the annual KZNSA Members’ exhibition.

Over 300 guests braved the snowy chill, among them 60 women resident at Thokoza Hostel who had come to view ‘LOCATION’ Angela Buckland’s new photographic installation.

The KZN office of VANSA (Visual Arts Network of South Africa) are looking to employ a part time adminsitrator. Position avaliable from 1 August 2011.
